Katherine’s motivation for joining Instinct came from a deep desire to change her relationship with fitness—and with herself.


Katherine says 

"Before joining Instinct back in February, I was incredibly apprehensive about the gym. On my first trial class day, I was overwhelmed by anxiety that I almost reached the gym but couldn’t summon the courage to enter, eventually going home in tears. However, I managed to overcome my fear, returned for a 30-minute trial session with Coach Brendan, and rescheduled my free trial class. I ultimately signed up. Four months later, my dedication is remarkable even to myself. I now train five days a week and have developed a strong routine. Admittedly, a doughnut from Doughbros on my way home helps with motivation, too. The turnaround in such a short time has been incredible, and I’m proud of my hard work, commitment, and resilience."
